“ Ordered 2 sheet pizzas ahead of time for a New Years party. Everything was ready to go at the time I requested. The staff was friendly and clearly working hard on such a busy night. The pizza was great too! ”
“ We really enjoy their pizza, it's consistently good, haven't tried their ice cream is great too ”
“ Buffalo chicken magicroni & cheese is my favorite! I get it for lunch at least once a month! Service is always super friendly & the meal is always hot! ”
“ i suggest (HUGELY SUGGEST) a calzone, the most AWESOME mac and cheese (bacon chicken and broccoli say whaaaaat?!?) and a pint of the the strawberry ice cream to split for a dinner in for two or three! sorry, i've had it three times and still can't get a pic before it's gone but trust me, you won't be disappointed! ”
“ This place is a staple in my household. The pizza is delicious and the ice cream is the best around. At least once a month we order delivery and have a pizza and movie night. The pizza isn't overly greasy and the balance between sauce, cheese and crust is on point. I'll never forget a few years ago when I had a new fridge delivered the day of a snow storm so I had no food in the house. I tried to order from multiple places but no one would deliver because of the roads. That didn't stop Papa Roni's. They brought me enough food for the couple days I knew Id be stuck at home until I could get out to the grocery store. They care about their customers and it shows. ”
“ Yesterday I ordered the Peanut Butter Cup Sundae. It was delicious. Excellent. ”
“ We came up to walk some trails at Portage Lakes State Park. On the way home, we spotted Papa Roni. It caught my eye because the sign said they had fall flavors of ice cream. Then we saw they serve pizza by the slice and decided to get that too. They are only taking orders at the drive-through. So when we order, the pizza needs to cook first, and we get to eat out dessert first! They had us park around the front while we waited and ate our ice cream. When the gentleman brought our pizza out, he apologized. We said it was all right. We got to eat dessert first! The ice cream was all great. I had apple pie, and I asked for whipped cream. It tasted just like a piece of pie with ice cream and some whipped cream. My husband had butterscotch ripple and Blue Moon(a soft raspberry flavor). It was nice creamy, and delightful, The pizza came out in one of their boxes, piping hot. Everything about it was so good. The crust was light and not doughy, cooked just right. Just the right amount of sauce and seasoned well. The old world pepperoni on my husband's piece was good. Good amount of mozzarella cheese was used So glad we stopped. ”
“ Pizza was good, but the ice cream must be tasted to be understood. My wife and I shared a single scoop chocolate and a single scoop banana in the same cup. I have had custard and it won for strength in flavor over ice cream for me....until now. When I say the flavor is a kick in the mouth its meant as a sincere compliment. I got a full scoop of flavor of any ice cream I had before in half a spoonful of Hershey's or Toft's. It breaks my heart to say that because I love Tofts bluberry waffle cone. They get the ice cream local so if you aren't from the area I doubt you've had something at this level of flavor. It has probably ruined me for other ice creams for a while. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! ”
“ Papa Roni's is your basic ice cream stand that also sells pizza. Picnic tables allow you to dine outside. The ice cream is from Katie's Corner, so you know it's good. I was there munching on some ice cream the other day with friends and decided to take a pizza home with me. I ordered my standard medium pepperoni, of course to go. A medium at Papa Roni's goes for $8.99 plus $1.50 for the topping. They advertise that their dough is made fresh daily, and it taste like it. The medium is listed as 12 inches, but mine measured in at 11 1/2. Not a big deal; freshly made dough will shrink a little once it's in the pan. The outside crust measured 1/2 inch. I counted 31 slices of pepperoni, but they were a bit smaller than most other places so it's probably comparable to what others do. I thought the pizza was O.K. It was baked well; the pepperoni developing a slight crunch. But by the time I arrived home the pizza had cooled down, so that didn't really give a true representation. One of the reasons why I always order at least a medium pizza is so I can have enough left over to enjoy the next day. That's what I did with these leftovers. The pizza didn't look all that great the next day, but I threw some slices on a plate and microwaved it for 99 seconds anyway. I'm glad I did. Once properly reheated, the pizza was fabulous. Flavor of the sauce came through. The crust sprang to life, a tiny crunch on the outside and a soft and chewy inside, representative of the "Cleveland style" pizza we Ohioans love so much. I'd go back. But next time wouldn't wait as long to eat it. ”
